Anthony Burns Elementary - Assistant Principal

Dear Parents, Students, and Visitors,

Welcome to Anthony Burns Elementary School! I am very proud to be the first Assistant Principal of Anthony Burns Elementary. Our first year, 2006-2007, was a tremendous experience and I know that there will be many more to follow.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University and my Masters degree in Education Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have been working in the field of education for 11 years. Previous to this position, I taught Special Education for 7 years at Stafford High School. For the past 4 years, I have been an administrator at the elementary level.

My wife and I are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters who are six and two years old. As Assistant Principal of Anthony Burns elementary, my perspective is as a leader of teachers, but also as a parent. My door is always open to any concerns that you may have. I look forward to working with the school community of Anthony Burns Elementary to help every child achieve their dreams.
